
I partnered with the founder of Ballast Coffee to brand the company and design every touch-point of the customer experience. During the naming process we discovered that a ballast is meant to give balance to something that is otherwise unstable. The name and logo are meant to capture the carefree, tranquil and balanced nature of his childhood in the Philippines. The design is simple, classic, perfectly balanced, top to bottom on a single coffee bean.
I developed the name, logo, brand standards, social media strategy, packaging, store design, swag, media training, sales materials, signage and more. My role has evolved into wholesale account growth and overall business development. This is just the start of this up and coming caffeinated brand.
