
ABOUT ME
Short Story
For over 25 years I have explored almost every aspect of the branding, advertising and marketing universe. My true passion is building and developing creative teams that produce impactful brands and campaigns. From print to video, digital to social media, TV to radio, UX/UI to product, sponsorships to outdoor, packaging to publications, B2C, B2B, D2C and even B2B2C, I have been fortunate enough to grow from all of those experiences. I use a mix of empathy, intuition, creativity, storytelling and analytics to lead high-performing, cross-functional, process driven and collaborative creative teams in producing work that has high impact.
Long Story
I worked on the agency side of the industry for the first 13 years of my career and eventually became a partner at the firm I started with. I was able to take the creative and marketing lead within many industries including the hotel, restaurant, toy, cosmetic, video game, construction and wine to name a few. Some clients were Westin, Kimpton Hotels, University Games, Wild Planet Toys, UbiSoft, Artesa Winery, Wolfgang Pucks Postrio, The Presidio Trust, The Best of Broadway Series, W Hotels, Slinky Brand and many more.
In 2010 I was recruited as Director, Creative Services at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and charged with rebranding the hospital for the first time in over 50 years. After the successful rebranding, I was eventually promoted to VP, Marketing and Creative Services and lead a team of 35. Along with building an expertise in healthcare, I grew my skill set in leadership, fundraising, sponsorship, video, strategy, research and celebrity relations at CHLA. I was able to build awareness and raise donations by working with professional sports teams and celebrities including: LA Kings, Clippers, Lakers, Dodgers, Galaxy, Chargers, USC Football, Heidi Klum, Drew Barrymore, Chris Paul, Seal, Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jimmy Kimmel, David Beckham, Pau Gasol, Jamie Lee Curtis, Magic Johnson, LaDainian Tomlinson, Landon Donovan and Luc Robitaille, alright, alright, enough with the name dropping!
After 8 years at CHLA I moved on to Grand Rounds Health - a hyper growth, mid-stage startup focused on providing high-quality care for everyone. I built the creative team from 4 up to 9 people including designers, production, copywriters, creative ops and project managers. In addition to the core team, I built a network of freelancers and agencies to help bring our brand to life. I led the creative team through 2 rebranding initiatives in 2 years - once to rebrand from Grand Rounds to Grand Rounds Health and then again after the company merged with Doctor on Demand and changed the name to Included Health.
I am so grateful for all the opportunities I have had and I look forward to all the professional challenges that lay ahead.
